CONSULTATION - We offer FREE consultation. Click on the More tab and fill out the HHP&B Information Form. Then, send us an email requesting a consultation. We will contact you to schedule an appointment to discuss your book aspirations. 

GHOSTWRITING - Ghostwriting costs are determined by estimated hours of completion. It does not include editing, formatting, print or author copies costs.

ILLUSTRATIONS-Illustration services are outsourced and are based on the prices set by the illustrator.

BOOK COVER - The book cover is just as important as the content of your book and should be completed immediately. Book covers allow you to advertise your book and to market pre-sales before release. The cost may vary depending on graphic design.

EDITING - Editing cost is based on the number of pages of your book.

FORMATTING - Formatting cost is based on the number of pages of your book, size of book, and customizations of features. 

AUTHOR COPIES - Once your book has been printed, you can purchase copies of your book in bulk at a low cost per copy. This allows you sales and distribution freedom.

FEATURED BOOK/AUTHOR ON WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA - During the month of July, Independent Black Authors are being featured on our website and social media pages FOR FREE. After July, there will be a small fee of $25 to be featured.

Our Online Bookstore is a marketplace designed to promote the Black Excellence of Independent Black Authors, Artists, and Merchants. It is a safe place to unapologetically partake in Black Culture.

If you want to market your book or items in our online bookstore, please contact us.

You provide a link that redirects customers to your site for "Direct Sale".  Hull House Publishing & Bookstore DO NOT profit from the sale of your items.

There is a fee to list your item.  It is an upfront fee with no recurring costs.

You are free to list as many items as you would like in the online bookstore. There will be a vendor's fee of $5 for each item you list.

You may request for your book or items to be removed from the store at any time.

To be featured in The Black Excellency Universe, send us a message of interest that includes a brief bio, a headshot or photo of choice, description of book, and a link to purchase your book.

We will invoice you for the fee of services. Once the invoice is paid in full, we will feature you, and your book on our website, Facebook, and Instagram pages. You will receive links to the features to share and your book will remain in our online bookstore.

"Read, Black Child, Read" is a Reading Initiative that promotes at-home reading by creating diverse libraries in homes in diverse areas of our city. By providing children's books written by Black Authors, children are more likely to engage in reading where characters are relative to them. 

For every $15 you donate, it purchases a book for these children in an effort to combat illiteracy rates in urban, inner cities.
